The Base42 Hackerspace is the birthplace of many interesting ideas, experiments and actual projects undergoing active development, some are one-offs, some are minor POCs, and some are bigger more serious projects being developed over the course of months.
All projects are completely open, in source and participation so anyone interested is free to join in their development and contribute in any capacity.
Useful links:
Most projects use our Plane instance (plane.42.mk) for project management.
Colloseum - a competitive programming platform, meant to provide a fresh perspective into the world of competitive programming. This is a competitive programming platform built from the ground up, architecture, design of the judge system, code execution environment, etc.
Unnamed Robotic Simulator - a robotics simulator and robotic design experiment, it's a project for both software and hardware, including a 3D printed robotic arm and the software to simulate and automate its actions.
42.mk - The entire website source code, and anything related to it is free and completely open source.
42.mk Infrastructure - The entire infrastructure built up around 42.mk and all of the services around it are free, open source and available for anyone interested to tinker with them.
You're free to look through the infrastructure, ask questions about it, tinker with it with limited access to databases (with great power, etc...)
This includes:
Services:
All of these services are deployed and maintained on physical infrastructure within the hackerspace and maintained by members of the hackerspace.
